After years of massage therapy I have discovered the best therapy is massaging my glutes and pinky balls work great! I just sit on one and roll it around until I hit the swollen muscle balled up in my butt cheek, then as I roll it around the tightened muscle will release and my pain is gone. Although this is temperary it works great so every time it starts getting tight I get out my pinky balls and sit on them! It's great and works as I imagined it would. I've used lacrosse balls to do the same thing, and the pink ball is more forgiving.
